frequently asked questions

Which evaluation should i attend?

Check out our Tumbling Level Requirements on Page 12 of our Evaluation Packet to match your skills to the Evaluation Session you should register for! That page comes with YouTube Videos of specific skills we would like to see per level!

how can i prepare for evaluations?

The best way to prepare for Evaluations is to get a baseline of what skills you would like to perform. Once you have that ready, work on those skills during your private lessons, classes, or open gym! The focus should be the ability to perform those skills consistently with great technique and timing within a group format!

i dont have all the skills for the evaluation i think i should attend. what do i do?

Having the skills for the Evaluation Session you want to attend is important. On page 12 and 13 of the Evaluation Packet, we have put together YouTube Videos that demonstrate the skills for both tumbling and stunts that we are looking for per level! Additional Tumbling and Stunting Skills are listed on page 23 of the packet if necessary.

For example: If you have 2 standing tumbling passes to show and only 1 running tumbling pass for that level due to the skills demonstrated in the videos, please just repeat your first running tumbling pass or another level appropriate pass listed on Page 23 of the Evaluation Packet.

what should i wear to evaluations?

Please wear Brandon All-stars practice attire or all black if you are new to BA!

What do i do if i can’t make the second day (callbacks)?

If you are unable to attend the Second Day of Evaluations (Callbacks), please make sure to attend your Initial Evaluation Day AND Make-Up Evaluations so that we are able to see you twice to evaluate appropriately. Make-Up Evaluations are on Saturday, May 17th from 5:30pm-7:00pm! Please reference Page 10 of the Evaluation Packet for more information!
